We are preparing BigDaySite with a few pilot weddings. This page describes how it will work; each feature page will say when it is ready for you.
Each guest sees their own day
You will add your events and your guests once and choose who is invited to what. Every guest will get a private link to a page with only their events.
The detail we care most about is time. If family and close friends stay for the wedding breakfast and the speeches and your evening friends are invited from 20:00, their page will say 20:00. So will their reply confirmation and the calendar file they save. The ceremony and the meal they are not invited to will not appear anywhere they can see.

Replies without chasing
Guests will reply on their own page before the deadline you set, for themselves or, when you allow it, for their household. You will see who is coming to which event, without counting messages.
Directions and calendar files
Each event page will carry the venue, the address and your notes on parking or transport. Guests will be able to save the event to their phone's calendar with their own arrival time already in it.
Your design, your words
You will start from one of six designs and choose your colours, heading style and wording. Write your story, travel tips and questions and answers once, and decide which guests see each part.
Photos from your guests, for your eyes only
Put a QR code on the tables. Guests will scan it and send you the photos and short videos they took, from their phone's browser; we are building it to work without an account. They will only be able to add their own; they will never see what anyone else sent. This will come with the paid plans.

Invitations by email
On the paid plans BigDaySite will also send the invitations by email, after you have read and approved them. On every plan you will be able to copy each guest's link and send it yourself.
