Photos and videos from your guests, by QR code
Guests will scan a code at the venue and upload what they took on their phones. Coming in this phase on Essentials and Celebration.

How it will work
You will print a QR code and put it where people gather: on the tables, by the bar, next to the guest book. A guest will scan it, pick photos or videos on their phone and upload them. We are building it to work in the phone's web browser, without an account. Guests will not see each other's uploads.
Files as the phone made them
iPhones and Android phones save pictures and films in different formats. Collection will accept the usual ones: JPEG, HEIC, PNG and WebP photos, and MP4, MOV, 3GP and WebM videos. Every original will be kept exactly as it was uploaded, with a smaller copy made for viewing in the browser.
You decide what others see
Uploads will come to you first. Nothing a guest uploads will be shown to anyone else unless you approve it, and a guest will be able to remove what they uploaded.
Space
Photos and videos will share your plan's space: 5 GB on Essentials and 20 GB on Celebration. We will let you know at 70% and at 90%. When the space is full, new uploads will stop with a clear message, and nothing already uploaded will be deleted. The largest file and the longest video we accept will be published once we have tested them.
Taking everything home
You will be able to download all originals in one archive while your site is online.
Not on Free
On Free you will be able to upload up to 100 MB of your own photos. Collecting from guests will need Essentials or Celebration. Compare the plans
