BigDaySite

BigDaySite is not open yet. We are preparing it with a few pilot weddings, so what this page describes is not available to the public yet.

Email invitations you approve before they go

BigDaySite will email each guest their private link and show you what happened to every message. Coming in this phase on Essentials and Celebration.

Coming in this phase. Email invitations are in development; this page will change to say so when you can send them.

Each email will carry one guest's link

You write the message once. Each guest receives it with their own private link, which opens their page with their events and their arrival time. How private invitations will work

Nothing is sent until you approve it

Before sending, you will see who will receive the message and exactly what it says. If you change the text or the list afterwards, you approve it again.

What you will see for each email

Every email will show one of four states: accepted by the email service, reported as delivered, failed, or unknown. Delivered means the guest's email provider took the message; whether the guest has read it is something no email service can report. We will never show a message as delivered when we do not know.

Guests who do not want email

A guest will be able to ask not to receive more emails about your wedding, and we will keep to that. You will still be able to share their link yourself.

How many

Essentials will include up to 1,000 email recipients for your site's hosting term, and Celebration up to 5,000. Messages a guest needs in order to take part, such as the confirmation of their reply, will not be counted and will be part of every plan.

On Free

BigDaySite will not send invitations or updates by email on Free; reply confirmations will still reach your guests. You will copy each guest's link and share it yourself, in a message or however you like. Compare the plans
